Has anyone seen Ladies in Lavendar?
I just made plans to go see it tonight with a friend of mine. (I had been debating a night at home or a night out, and decided to go with a night out...)

Happy Friday!!!
456 miles in the car today. I could have visited my parents for that distance. . First time that I have had a Plaintiff yell at me across the Court House Square. Excellent negotiating today. I told them not one more dime and the offer was off the table when I leave the Court House, thus the Plaintiff panicing and yelling at me to see if I was leaving. Few minutes later, matter settled at my price.
Sorry for the long story. Busy weekend. I just got home and am tidying the house for yet more visitors.

Congrats on what sounds like a successful case!!
You have too many visitors at your house all the time!
Addy- enjoy the show!
It's good to have a 13 year old sister- I casually mention wicked and now she wants to go rush the show. Ok by me! We'll probably lose that though, rush SB, and if we lose that, just get standing room. Wish me luck!

That sounds like an aweful long drive for one day. Ugh!
I think the management of brdlwyr-B&B need to take a sabbatical...

my headaches, I lost my dinner...and I am bored out of my freakin' mind!
Pity me.

Thanks, Mom...didn't mean to bring down the tone of the thread but I needed some pity.
So is it Indian or Mexican for dinner?

Mom - this board freaks me out. I was just thinking of you a few minutes ago and your daughter's college plans!!!!!!!! How is your son??
Beacon - feel better.
DD - sometimes the B&B is to my advantage - my mother in law helping us out. This coming trip by my sister was planned months ago. She has excellent seats for Wicked on Sunday. I am jealous. Her daughter is nice and will be fun for the girls.

College plans are going on.. she recieved in todays mail packets from Hawaii Pac U., and Holy Cross, she is looking forward to summer and getting some sleep. I haven't heard from my son as of yet. So I am operating on the "no news is good news". But TD Arlene is coming up the west coast of FL so I have a new worry.
***ooops had to edit!***
Still not too sure if it is curry, or enchalladas yet. Still waiting for my sweetie to get home.

Thank's DD. It's 80 degrees and humid as heck at 7:20pm. That lemonade will really help!
I have friends on the west coast of FL right now so I'm tracking the storm, too.

Hey, people.
Sorry about the weather over there, beacon. We are finally getting some rain down here. There are farmers in my state that haven't seen decent rain in four years.
But, if you are still hot and drippy, I have some icy stuff for you.

Someone has to teach me about alcohol -- I need a weeklong seminar in liquor (I swear, I almost typed Seminary - the irony is not lost).
Volunteers?

Well... we could do that instead of Disney. Though I'm hardly an expert, I could give you the 101 course.
I need something a lot stronger than beer now... but oh, beer before liquor, never sicker. I don't wanna be sick... I guess I'll have another beer...

Hello all! Looks like you all had a fun night drinking! Shira, I'll teach you drinking when you get back to NY! (wait, didn't we already go to the bar...? Don't tell my boss!)
My sister and I both won the Wicked lottery tonight- so we ended up selling the 2 extra tickets for $40 each. Nice profit! Our tickets therefore only cost $10 each, we were very happy. And the show was fun- Megan Hilty is great, Ben Vereen is ok, Rue McClanahan sucks.
