Who needs a MOJITO time?

HEY!!!
I had such a WONDERFUL time today... Ave Q was sooooo good! I laughed and laughed (and Barrett Foa took the handbag of the lady next to me, so that was a treat!) The show was a lot more impressive than I even imagined... (end of gushing)...
After the show, I walked through the rain to the JAMBA JUICE on 47th... I had an amazing Peenya Kowlada (sp?) and thought of you guys... 'specially when the lovely woman behind the counter said "you look familiar, have you been here before?" and I said "no, this is my first time, but I have friends who told me about it - this one here and some on the West Coast" (everybody gave me a little Jamba Hoot!) Too funny...
There's more, but I took up too much room already...

Sounds like everyone is having a night in!
Glad you enjoyed the Jamba Juice OTA! You picked a great flavor! And Ave Q lived up to all your expectations! (was this your first time seeing it?)

first time for Q... I don't think I did it justice though, cause my wife was kinda like "oh? that was funny? I guess you had to be there!" lol...
and L? When I called her after the show, she said "why don't you try for the Bee tickets, I can handle things here"!

Posted: 6/11/05 at 10:57pmYou should TOTALLY have gone for the Bee tix. Why do I have the feeling that when I'm in NYC I'll be your partner in crime and your wife won't like me very much?

She will like you fine, DD - never you fear! She's very cool!
I did go to the lottery, and I even met a guy who was by himself too, so we both put in for two tickets, but didn't win (it was his fifth time not winning)...
We need to have a BWW handsignal or secret word or something, cause I swear, looking out at all the people at the Wicked/Bee lottery, I kept thinking - "who are you people? who posts??"
Rob needs to get little gold pins that we can all wear...

that's why we need pins... Did you win?
#8433Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/11/05 at 11:08pmNope, sister and I ended up seeing a movie. I want to rush Bee again tomorrow. Care to join me?

can't come up tomorrow, unfortunately... I didn't like the fact that all those Wicked folks jump over to the Bee line...
I can't believe I was there and you were there! It sucks to be me!

LOL, I know right?
I hate that the Bee lottery is so full because of Wicked losers! Though that is good marketing and a good plan for the Bee people, so I'll give them credit (even if it makes my chances so low). I might go tomorrow night for the Bee lottery, as there is no night show for Wicked, so no lottery beforehand. However, Wicked gets out at 5:45, and the Bee lottery is from 5:30-6:00, so I might still get screwed.

Posted: 6/11/05 at 11:24pmthis guy that was there tonight was pushing All Shook Up... I was thisclose to going for balcony tickets, but then that nasty thunderstorm came, and I decided to go home...
#8437Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/11/05 at 11:29pmYou should have gone to All Shook Up! It's great! Sis and I would have gone to do that but I just saw it on Thurs and am going back on the 23rd and 28th, so tonight too would have been too much. But it's a great show!!! Go see it next time, and bring your kids, they'd like it too!
#8438Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/11/05 at 11:35pmI will have to add that to the list... C5 and I are supposed to do CCBB... and hopefully, after that we can leave the kids home... I'm trying to figure out how we can get a babysitter so we can come up for a weekend (ideally for Piazza and DRS)... but, I dream!

Hey, working with kids is my job!
We saw Monster-in-Law. It was cute, I was entertained by it. And the 13 year old sister loved it.
I still need to see Traveling Pants! And Madagascar!
#8445Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/12/05 at 2:20amSaw travelling pants. I was dissapointed.

Doesn't seem like my kind of movie, Dame...
Ugh... I waited too late to make the chili and now I can't go to bed waiting for it to cool so I can put it in the fridge. Why is it that when I cook it for dinner it gets cold in no time, and when I need it to cool off it takes forever...

I'm just stopping by for a minute...before I head out for today's adventure.
I saw Cinderella Man on Friday. (We changed our minds about Ladies in Lavendar...). WOW! LOVED it. Bring tissue...
Yesterday I was in CT. Went to a picnic/concert in the park by the water last night. "Bravo Toscanini" was the theme of the concert, and with the cool water breeze, it really was a magical evening! People were envious of our picnic...we had quite the spread!
Got up at the crack of dawn to run this morning, and am now back home in the city.
Sounds like everyone is making the most of their weekends! OTA, I love your idea of the little gold pins!

Hehe - actually, I slept in til about 6:30 your time
It is the quietest it ever gets in our neck of the woods - and almost anything is worth getting to enjoy that!
Of course, I'm SURE I'll be enjoying a nap sometime later today - perhaps laying by the pool . . .
