We saw him last summer in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC - he was wonderful. We also get to see him around town quite a bit since he's been doing Alias. He's quite a man
Undi- What does a VIP invite include???
Anyone want to go see a show today? I'm bored
Liotte,
You must have a rich sugar daddy somewhere. You go to theater as much as I go to the gas station. I hope it has not become a non event for you.
Definitely no sugar daddy! I think my work should just write my paychecks directly to the nederlander or shubert or whoever organization. I just get the cheap tickets (no more than $25) for everything. Going to theater is like going to a movie or yankees game- it's just entertainment, makes me happy and I enjoy sitting and watching it. Does that make it a non-event?

Happy Sinday.
I thought I was in reasonable voice this morning.
My sister and my niece are excited for Wicked in a few hours.
L - you do see more threatre than anyone I know of. Undi - that sounds great tonight.
The Cubs/Red Sox game was a blast - it was crazy and the Cubs won.
'morning Mojitians... here briefly before I head to all-day rehearsal. The chili turned out delish!
brdlwyr,
How many times those this make for you at Wicked?

Dame, I am not going this afternoon. I have only seen it three times, unlike Liotte who has 22 under her belt. Are you tickets next month?? The "sit down" starts in a few weeks.
DD - I have had to wait up for the wife's four star chicken soup to cool.
Just finished mowing and fertilizing the lawn - oh fun.
C9 is still not herself. Not eating much and very grumpy. I assume she will get much better in a few days.
Fajitas and Margaritas tonight. My sister does not drink but will have one Margarita.

For the record, I have seen Wicked 24 times, not 22 as brdlwyr stated.

Undi I have marinated the meat and chopped the peppers!!
For the record, I saw On The Record once and that was more than enough.
See brdlwyr? I never saw On the Record! I don't see everything! (and it didn't come to NY, otherwise I would have...)
Undi, which supermarket do you go to? Gristedes? Fairway? Zabars?

Unless, I told you that you would rather go to the dentist and have you tooth pulled than sit through that nonsense???
I love Disney, so I would have been willing to give it a try. I've sat through plenty of musicals that I hated. Cats, Caroline or Change, Whistle down the Wind, Starlight Express, Putting it Together, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Damn Yankees, there's more but I don't want to offend anyone now who loves those shows.
oooh, Undi, a bake-off? I have no doubt you will WIN! They don't know what they're up against!
THAT part is not fun... Ice cream for Undi when she is done baking!
Better idea! And, a frozen cosmo is empty calories and refreshing at the same time!
Hmmm... too bad we can't play hooky tomorrow!
Y'all can play hookie down here.
Monday is a public holiday.
So do I! I was just planning on what to wear for the occasion... In case of rain and heat and humidity...
and, GH, that would be so much fun! The next few weeks are non-stop busy for me! I would LOVE to have a day to play...
Well, you should transfer Broadway Under the Stars down here.
Blue skies and sunshine today, and a clear skies tonight. True, it is a little chilly, so bring a blankie.
Undi - I missed the part where you told what you're making... or is that a surprise...
L - did you go to a show? I don't think I'll ever get past the idea of theatre being an "event" - I still dress up (so many people yesterday were wearing shorts and t-shirts!)
BL - Dinner sounded great... we had barbecue lemon chicken by the pool! C5, after being told repeatedly by his Mother and sisters that he could NOT have his nails painted, decided to do it anyway... it was a lovely shade of pink, Addy - you would have been so pleased!
ahhhh - you're in the culinary CIA, then... I gotcha!
Can't wait to tune in tomorrow... (yeah, like, I'm gonna leave now and not check this board until tomorrow! hahahaha!)
I think a glass of lemonade would hit the spot right about now...
I feel like I'm in a scene from Porgy and Bess.
*cue Summertime...*
My friends all suck and didn't want to see a show tonight, and I didn't feel like going on my own. So I went to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I thought it was a cute movie, definitely made me cry though.
So are we all meeting up at Broadway Under the Stars tomorrow? I'll be getting there quite early, so I'll be up front by the stage hopefully!
Bway under the Stars - y'all just like to flaunt your world in front of us lowly suburbanites, dontcha? :sulk, sulk:
