I hate when it's a beautiful, sunny day, and I have to spend the whole day on a plane. Everyone enjoy it for me!

We are visiting my wife's family in Washington, DC. My mother in law has a huge house with accomidations for all. I had hoped to do something a little more peppy. I will try to convince the wife to pop to NYC for a night, but we will see.
This vacation allows us to miss some house guests!!!!
So, DAME, how was Bewitched?
I don't know Lawyer. It seems to me you work awfully hard. If you want to go to NY I don't see why you don't plan for it.. because you want to go. And why don't you all take a vacation by yourselves? Maybe leave the kids with family?
BL - when you get that worked out, let me know how you did it... I could use some pointers!
and yes, Dame - how was Bewitched (cringing in fear of the answer)

Coundn't we all use a few pointers? I did get a trip with the two of us to NYC in 2003. Time and money - the two most precious commodities for us?
The wife and kids are seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith this afternoon. I thought it was a wierd choice. C7 wants to see Star Wars again.
c11 is chomping at the bit to see "Bewitched", but I have to see it first to give her the green light, since it's PG-13... I am a huge fan of the series, and have nothing but dread thinking of how those b**trds chopped up poor Samantha...
Last time we went anywhere of significance without the kids was for our 10th Anniversary - a weekend in NYC to see "The Producers" - it was right after 9/11, and was more than a little bittersweet...
Ontheaisle;
I see it tonight. The Variety review is awful.

It's a rather large package....
I've had that package. Large is a understatement.
