I assume that I am the only one here that competes with a pre-teen for computer time.

Mom and Dad had me in Nashville in '79. We moved to LA in '82. Mom and Dad got divorced there when I was 3. Mom remarried Stepdad when I was 5. We moved to Cincinnati in '85, they had a kid (she's now 1Who needs a Mojito time?. We all moved to Denver in '87, they had another kid (she's now 15). Those sisters live with Mom and Stepdad in CA. We moved to Carmel in '94. Back in '83, Biological Dad moved to NY, remarried sometime around '90, had a kid (she's now 13). Dad divorced stepmom a few years later. Dad moved to FL this year, sister still lives with my ex-stepmom (her mom) in the city.

Does that make sense? I'm an American child!

Got it.

My wife's father (divorced from my mother in law) married her college friend and had two daughters who are 16 and 14, thus my children's aunts.

And, I think my wife's "step mother" which word we never use, is actually younger than your parents!

Wow, that's kinda messed up too!

I forgot to add- my grandpa remarried a woman a few years ago, and now my mom is suing her for slander or libel or whatever because she is evil.

Fun evening... tonight's reading wasn't as good as last night's. But still had a good time. I love seeing a work in progress, and having the discussion afterwards with the author.

Morning everyone. I barely slept last night, as I had a diet coke at the game yesterday and can't handle caffeine. Thought I'd be ok 11 hours after drinking it, apparently I was wrong. Today will be very long!

Good morning to all.

I was up a little later than usual, so am on my 2nd cup of coffee this morning, but seeing all of you here brightens the day!

Happy Thursday. This week is going quickly...

I'm off tomorrow because I'm singing on Saturday and we have a rehearsal all afternoon, so I decided to take the whole day off to get some long-neglected things done. Today is going to be busy, though... amazing how just one day off piles the work on to the day before!

I'll be doing that in August, Liotte...

Amazing how we kill ourselves at work so that we can take the vacation time we're supposed to take to refresh ourselves...

What a world!

Life is one weird cycle! I kill myself at work so I can see shows all the time :) It keeps me sane between vacation times!

Exactly... though I DO enjoy my career, sometimes the volume of work can be overwhelming.

At least we get to live in a city which provides us with LOTS of ways to enjoy ourselves outside of the office!
