Great morning and afternoon at Great Falls, Maryland side and a civilized lunch in Glen Echo.
We are skipping the DC fireworks, once in a lifetime is enough and I do not like the crowds, also C11 would not like it and the niece is only two.
Cosmos for the ladies tonight, so maybe mojitos tomorrow night. Or, both tonight!!!! Thanks Dame for the recipe.
brdlwyr... I know of a couple of places in town that have excellent *whispers* caipirinhas...
Yum, Jamba Juice... I had that yesterday, so I'm all set!
Total was totally unproductive. I just slept 3 hours on the couch. DD, GH, DAME, I hope you all are on late tonight so when I'm up at 3am in NY, I'll still have someone to talk to!

Back from PIAZZA.
A different experience sitting in what turned out to be fourth row center Orchestra than sitting in Right Loge.
Full house. All leads present.
Marketing is stil inserting 2 song CD sampler in every Playbill.
I'm going to see Music Man tonight... should be back by midnight... your 3am. I'll check and see if you're around.
Back from a dinner with my middle school friends, we had a lot of fun, glad I finally got off my tush to go out.
How was everyone's evening?
Mine was great, my Jewish mama invited me over for dinner, but their table leg broke this afternoon so they took me out instead. Then we went back to their place and had a singalong. We're dorks but do we ever have fun!
Rath, that sounds like a lot of fun! Were mojitos involved??
No, we don't need alcohol to act like dorks. We're naturally dorky.
Had a great time at Music Man. The understudy for Harold Hill was on, which was excellent because it's someone I know. As hokey as it is I still love that show.
We went to a screning of "Pee Wees Big Adventure" at the Hollywood Cementary.
that sounds interesting... is it a real cemetery?
I love PeeWee's Big Adventure!
It's a lovely day in the neighborhood!
Have a great day everyone!
Beautiful day in the Great Pacific Northwest... can't wait to get outside. I think an easy hike is in order today...
"The universe will step in to change your plans today, causing you to cross paths with someone you'd ordinarily never have met. Forget coincidence. There's no such thing, and you know it. You were meant to connect."
Ok... now I'm really excited about today.
Daydreamer,
yes it is. It is where Rudolph Valentino and Cecil B demille are buried ( among others). It is a lot of fun. There were about 1500 people there last night. In the summer they have a movie every Saturday night.
Wow... going to see movies at a cemetery. If I was to be buried, I'd want to be buried in a cemetery like that.
Our summer outdoor movies don't begin until mid-July, but no interesting venues like that.
Let me know whenyou will be in Los AAneles and we will go. It is $10.00 a head. And of course.. you don't even need to bring your 420 with you since all you have to do is take a breath.
LOL
The weekend of Camelot, remember? Did you get tickets?
When is that again?
Hey folks. I thought I'd come in here for a bit as the "children" on this board are working my last good nerve.
How's things Dame? Last night sounded like fun.
Camelot is on 8/14
Welcome to the adult world, Diva.
Hi Diva,
Last night was alot of fun. And the boys were representing in full force. How has yyour weekend been?
Speaking of De Mille, could you imagine if he or Otto Preminger were alive now & how they would react to prima donna stars like Tom Cruise etc ? It would not be pretty but it would be fun to watch.
To keep in line with the topic, DAME owes me a mojito . By the way, check your PM'S re that matter you asked about
Happy 4 th one & all
