Rath - good for you. I know that "buy outs" can dicey, but (without knowing your resume) - you have to start somewhere.

My wife was on "ice" for two nationals this year, but has not been sent out in months.

A buyout just means it's a flat fee, no residuals. It's basically what I'd make for 3 days of temp work, I'd say. So not a lot of money, but tons of validation!! And, it was my first commercial audition.

No idea of any of that. It's for one of those things you plug into your phone when your battery dies and it works like magic! It will probably play on Lifetime Movie Network at 3:00 a.m. during Tori Spelling movies.
