Yes, there is a considerable increase in uniformed officers and bomb sniffing canine checks in the subway. No major invconvenience. I have also noticed that there are no longer garbage cans, but see through bags so no bombs could be hidden.

SO... going Kayaking. I think I can probably see these friends at the Thanksgiving event instead. They seem to be toning it down quite a bit this summer anyway.

brdlwyr... if I had kids I'd totally want them to grow up in the city. I'm a city dweller... even though I live in the suburbs for convenience (close to work)

I loved Baby... a little uneven, but very sweet.

No bike ride... it's WAY too windy out. Don't enjoy biking THAT much.
