I was out with 8 of my friends, 7 of which were singing karaoke... I have this thing about hanging out with friends before I travel. And in a little less than 6 hours I will be on my plane to LA!
The 5 O'Clock News is on here.
Have a wonderful time, DD!
Thanks Hep... I really hate flying, so I'm quite anxious right now. Hopefully I'll get some sleep.
Once you are on that plane, close your eyes and play showtunes in your head.
You'll be just fine.
My iPod is charged and ready to go...
Bon Voyage!!!
Almost 4 am... I'm outta here...
3 - 2 - 1.................... wooo-hoooo! Have a great weekend! See you all on Tuesday.

Hey all, busy couple of days for me, DD, Shira and Dame have a great weekend.
Hope your days go well, brdlwyr.
I'm excited to see DD! I'm not very awake at all (decaf espresso - I think not!), but I'll be filled with happiness when I see him!
So DD is in LA now and we can stop counting down???
I haven't heard from him yet...I think he'll call me once he gets his car, and then I'll head out to meet him.
Just talked to him...THE EAGLE HAS LANDED (his words, not mine). So now he's waiting for the shuttle to take him to the car rental place. Wheee!
Hooray, BWW party in LA this weekend! Have so much fun and be sure to report in to us!
L - what are you up to today?
Laundry, errands, boring stuff. Maybe the Wicked lotto (AGAIN) but if I don't win, I don't have any other shows left to see. Might be a blockbuster night.
Catch up on old movies -- that's what I've been doing!
Watched "Lion In Winter" and "Good News" the other night.
As DAME and many others can tell you, I am very closed-minded. Old movies? Old in my definition is 1980s movies. With the exception of Disney, I don't think I've seen any movies that were made before I was born.
Oh m god Liotte. You don't know what yu are missing. If I suggest some would you rent them and try them out?
Depends...
Are they color or black and white? (Oh! I've seen The Wizard of Oz!! That was before I was born)
Honey; you can't go by that. Don't be narrow minded. Why don't you start with something like " All About Eve". hey .. here is a incentive.. the musical "Applause" was based on it. Rent it. I believe you will love it.
*grumbles*
Is All About Eve a musical? (Oh! I've seen A Chorus Line! That makes 2!)
Oy. Liotte. if you don't mind me asking you......how old are you?
That explains it. There are alot of old movies that are just wonderful. The plots are so rich you just sit there and get so involved. If you decide you are really interested let me know. I will give you a great list. I would start with "All About Eve" just because it is about the theater and I already know you love that. I would also suggest "Mildred Piere" just because it is that good.
