I'll look at the cover at the video store and see... :)
And I know there are lots of great movies that are older, I just have never seen them or had much interest.
Happy Friday all. Still on vacation here. With another week coming. Soon it will be mojito time.
Mominator; enjoy your vacation!
Liotte.. look them up on IMDB. ANd I totally understand you not having seen them. You are only 26. But don't go by the black and whites you see on TV. Most of these movies have been restored and available on dvd and they look like they were made yesterday.
Have fun Mom!
DAME- I've never seen a black and white movie on tv (or anywhere, except the beginning of the Wizard of Oz). I'll try to check it out and report back when I've seen it.
Excellent. I almost feel like you are my adoptive internet daughter .
Anyway.. have a great weekend.
You are certainly not old enough to be my father! (I don't think...)
But you sure sound like him when you're yelling at me to stop spending money on seeing shows over and over! :)
Not yelling. "Suggesting"
Haha, I've heard that before too! It's good for you to give me suggestions- keeps me grounded more. Not like I listen to them though, I still need my show fix!
A wonderful BWWer gave me a ticket to ASU for tomorrow, I'm so excited! It's good that I can still get excited for something I've seen so many times, means I really appreciate the fine art of theatre!
Or that you have a addictive personality.
Well yes, that too. But only for theatre, baseball, and chocolate. And certain TV shows. And Jamba Juice.
Thanks Dame & liotte! We are hoping for some good weather for hiking
Off to lunch
Well, I'm off to go lose the Wicked lotto again.
what to do with you
There is probably a twelve-step program to help her.
I think she tried it already, gettinhep.
Okay, DD and Shira day check-in!
We went to breakfast in Beverly Hills and then walked all around Rodeo Drive and such. Afterwards, we went to the Beverly Center for shopping - he wanted a nice outfit, but all we ended up with were jeans -- very nice ones, I might add. I believe someone suggested the Grove for the mall -- maybe Monday, but today it was warm and we needed mens clothing. So that's that! DD is simply a phenomenal man!
So glad you had such a full, rich day for DD's first day in LA.
Uh oh -- is that sarcasm? I can't tell!

I think that GH was sincere.
Shira - you did not go out for Happy Hour?
Shira is not old enough for happy hour!
Lost again, surprise surprise, but went to see Mad Hot Ballroom which was very touching and cute.
Seeing ASU matinee tomorrow, will try wicked again tomorrow night.
Have fun in LA Shira and DD!

I get worried when I see L post before Wicked would have ended!
I was being sincere. You sound as you guys had a good, and busy day!
brdlwyr, I have just come to accept the fact that I will never see Wicked again by lottery.
But I walked to and from Times Square (to my apartment), so I got some exercise which was nice. Until it started raining. Oh well.

I might try here on Wednesday in Sept and October. I am taking clients, so I will be going soon.
I might try to come to chicago for labor day weekend, so i'll be doing the lottery then if I am in town.
