ME!
Male stars in bathing suits...you kidding me?
Better was "Superstars" with pro athlete's competing with each other in various sports.

I've only seen some clips but it looks hilarious!
As I recall, Penny Marshall always kicked butt for ABC.
They reran these a few years ago.
I think folks are confusing Circus of the Stars with Battle of the Network Stars. Both were delicious shows. But I did love prime time male stars in speedos for the BOTNS. Totally divine. I think how I feel about COS and BOTNS is how kids growing up today will feel about Dancing with the Stars. Although I wish theyd revive the BOTNS. I'd love to see the guys from Desperate Housewives in Speedos. :)

Angela Lansbury was one of the Ringmasters.
Now you're talking! This is the kind of television show I want on DVD!!!
My friend Deborah Tranelli did the trapeze - she showed me the tape years later - scary!!
My friend Lara Jill Miller was on too, I think she was a juggler - I know she can still do it. Haven't seen her tape, but I'm sure I would have seen the original.
Lara Jill Miller is adorable. Before I knew I was gay, I was all about her and Gimme A Break!!!
Rath, quit name dropping network has beens!
and sorry for my confusion...there is a continental divide between Circus of the Stars and Battle of the Network Stars...mea culpa.
Darlin', the only names I have to drop are has-beens, k?
I only watched one year. I think it may have been the last one. Go figure!
I toldja...unless it's Laurie Hendler, I'm not interested!
Yes but Lara is still adorable so Rait can name drop. Actually, I prefer has-been name-droppers because you know they are sincere. You'd really have to be a friend of LJM to mention it. I mean when people start saying they know Beyonce, I raise an eyebrow. Plus, I'm partial to Lara Jill and Rait gave me a lovely memory of one of my first childhood crushes.
Ain't that the trut', Bettyboy!!
I suppose I'm partial to the ones who did $25,000 Pyramid, Tattletales or Match Game.
Rath can name drop all she wants...like she'd listen to me anyway.

i remember Anita Morris doing tricks with an elephant!!!!
....& then there was the time she was on CIRCUS OF THE STARS.....
Ah, GIMME A BREAK, one of my favorites....remember when they had Robin Gibb on and he and Nell sang "Up Where We Belong" while the Chief looked on? Wow, three dead people in one episode!
Mmm, okay, Doodle, I met Patty Duke once...she was adorable on Match Game!
Now, I would name-drop Anita and Grover, but she's passed on, and he's..., so what's the point?
All I have to say is ... Parker Stevenson -- spankex unitard -- swinging.
Shatner doing karate, or something:
Somms, s'what I'm sayin'!
for a gay kid, that was as good as it got in the 'burbs.
