An excellent alternative to whole wheat pasta is Dreamfield pasta. It's a white durham wheat pasta with as much fiber per serving as whole wheat and because of the way it's processed; it only has 5 net carbs per serving. Most white pastas have an average of 35 net carbs per serving. And it tastes very good. I can't tell the difference between it and regular white durham wheat pasta.
I'm not a Ronzoni fan (I never bought their white-flour pasta), but IMO the best tasting whole wheat blend pasta is Ronzoni Healthy Harvest.

I've seen the Dreamfield mentioned in those surveys I read, Luscious.
Oh, so many suggestions to try!

No question that regular pasta is my fav, but for health reasons I've switched entirely to whole wheat - either Trader Joe's or Whole Foods - and it doesn't take long to get accustomed to the different texture and taste. (Especially if you come up with some deliciously wicked spicy sauces!)

We get the Racconto pasta at two NYC supermarket chains: Morton Williams and the Amish Market.

there's an Amish market down the block from where I work, but I didn't know it was a chain.
Never heard of a Morton Williams store. Live and learn! thanks.
