I guess us homely girls are just...MEAN GIRLS!!!

I can never resist the chance to make a bad pun. :P

"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad

Not a great actress?!?!

Tell me if I'm wrong, but wannabes don't get these kinds of reviews:

"Lindsay Lohan delivers her best performance as Cady Herron. The transformation that Cady takes, from meek girl to devilish vixen, is quite remarkable. Lohan displays an assured and maturing acting talent, as well as an impressive knack for comedic timing, and makes her character's transition organic and convincing. She has enough star power to last a while. Her performance as Cady is one of the most impressive of the year." - eFilmCritic.com

"(Lohan's) nuanced, three-dimensional turn as Cady is the stepping stone she needs to show that she is capable of much more than just being likable and sweet in family-oriented features." - TheMovieBoy.com

"Lohan displays plenty of charm, verve and deft comic timing as she switches between innocence and craftiness." - Variety

"Lohan dazzles us once more. Tina's Fey's smartly written script is a perfect match for Lohan's intelligent brand of comedy." - Steven Rhodes' Internet Reviews

"The effortlessly engaging Ms. Lohan... has more talent and onscreen charm than all of her peers combined. Based only on a handful of movies, it's evident that Lohan is the cream of the Teenage Crop, as least as far as bona-fide movie acting is concerned." - eFilmCritic.com

"Lohan captures her character's ambivalence, and it's good to see her with a dignified beauty. Lohan reminds us in this film that she still can be the sweet girl who first won our hearts in Disney's remake of 'The Parent Trap'." - Houston Chronicle

"Cady Herron is played by the vibrant and relatable Lindsay Lohan, who is this decade's answer to Molly Ringwald, only with a much more promising upside." - Arizona Daily Star

"Lindsay Lohan shines in 'Mean Girls'. She was robbed of a Golden Globe nomination." - TheFilmExperience.net

"Lohan nails the transition from wholesome sweetie pie to over-groomed, under-dressed poison apple desperate for approval from people she really can’t stand." - Killer Movie Reviews

"Lohan takes a major step toward blossoming into the beautiful adult actress she seems destined to become... this tween star seems to have the goods." - FilmStew.com

"Lohan is a likable and pretty young actress and she does a fine job as the anchor for 'Mean Girls'" - Reeling Reviews

"This is the film where Lohan will begin to separate herself from the Hilary Duffs and Mandy Moores of the world. She IS the real deal." - eFilmCritic.com

"(Lohan) has a winning presence in the film and continues to show potential as a strong leading lady." - eFilmCritic.com

"Lohan displays an assured and maturing acting talent, as well as an impressive knack in comedic timing." - eFilmCritic.com

"Lohan maintains a wonderfully energetic performance. - Shadows on the Wall

"Lohan does what all great stars have to do, blend animal sex appeal with quantifiable acting skills." - Movie Shoot

"Lohan has star power in spades, and enough going on behind the eyes to suggest inner life and back story absent from the script. She conveys Cady's sudden character changes with aplomb, and her comic timing is excellent." - Hollywood.com

"The wonderful Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron." - Quad City Times

"Her best performance yet." - Premiere Magazine

"She displays a winning mix of confidence, vulnerability and comic timing." - The Daily Collegian

"She has a quiet self-confidence that prevents her from getting shrill and hyper like so many teenage stars." - Roger Ebert

"With this film, Lohan has grown into an accomplished and beautiful actress." - Atlanta Journal-Constitution

"Lohan makes a perfect protagonist, struggling to find herself amid all the glad hands, back stabs, insincere compliments and snide comments." - DemocratAndChronicle.com

"Lohan uses her natural ability for comedy to play a 16-year old kid that isn't overly precocious or too grown up for her age. You'll love the subtle, growing changes in her personality as the movie progresses, and Lohan never overdoes it." - WaffleMovies.com

"Lindsay Lohan does a stellar, stellar job. She handles all of the interesting themes of the movie very well, and brings an air of legitimacy to what could have easily fallen into the hands of crapdom." - Vice Central

"('Mean Girls') is further proof that Lindsay Lohan is fast becoming THE teen star of Hollywood. Of the cast, Lohan is the (ahem) obvious stand-out – she’s completely adorable throughout the film and manages to retain our sympathy even when you gradually realize she’s gone too far. Lohan is someone to watch." - View London

"(Lohan's) more or less been lined up as one of Hollywood’s new teen queens, but 'Mean Girls', I think, establishes her as a genuine actress. Without going overboard or lapsing into clichés, Lohan makes Cady’s transition believable and – more importantly – interesting." - Aisle Seat

"Lohan is perfectly cast as Cady, able to easily sway from innocent to acidic, back-patter to back-stabber." - Palo Alto Weekly

"Lohan makes an enormously appealing young heroine." - Washington Post

"Ms. Lohan is arguably the most adorable and the most talented of teens in the American movies." - Harvey S. Katan

"Lohan, who is now a familiar face in teen movies, makes her evolution from naïve waif to cunning Plastic convincing without sacrificing her character's humanity." - QNetwork

"Lohan has become the princess of quality teen comedies and shows no sign of losing her tiara anytime soon." - Gazette MD

"(Lohan) makes (Cady) a likeable, fully-realized character while still having that bitchy, popular edge to her." - MovieContests.com

"Fey’s script is brilliant. Waters’ direction is inspired. And Lohan’s acting gets the best out of both." - TonyMedley.com

"(Lohan) acquits herself well, mixing meekness and cunning as Cady." - Boston Globe

"Lohan is exceptional." - Laramie Movie Scope

"The film comes as a refreshing breath of air from its star, Lindsay Lohan." - Desert News

"As for Lohan, she fits right in with the SNL gang and shines as an up-and-coming starlet." - Movie Habit
