As long as he doesn't end up like a more eco-friendly Isadora Duncan, things will be fine.
And JohnBoy, you're falling back into your old habit of proudly announcing you don't know someone, as if your not knowing someone says everything about them and nothing about you.

Say what you will about Musto, but not every columnist can spend one night having dinner and drinks in Washington Heights and turn it into a three-column series, as though he'd managed to make an excursion into Pyongyang.
The subway ride home was really scary, he says! (maybe he was just getting dirty looks because his bike was blocking the door?)

I kind of got tired of Musto a while back. He does Theatre Talk and I kind of cringe when I know he is going to be on. He seems kind of bitter at times and really adds nothing to the conversation. The running thing about his latestest book is old and he always seems to have to throw in something gay.
With that said...I loved this piece, for the most part. He is dead on. Best thing I have read by him in a long time. JMO
