German, spoken by anyone.
It's a rather long word, I think.
And the tone of the word is harsh, too. I remember that.

Sonntag bin ich schon weg. Ich hab noch ne England Rundreise vor mir und bleibe nicht im Musicalland wie mein Bruder :)

edit: @ fiction there is a bad word; maybe you mean "kacke" it means s_h_i_t.

That would be nice. I'm still sick!

The only bright spot today was talking to you guys and my sister's e-mail this morning: (I know it's all just a trick, she must want something from me, but it was still nice...)

"dieses wochenende hab ich mich mit freunden getroffen.....................war ganz o.k........... gruß von chanel und sandra und ich soll dir viel glück wünschen das du eine berühmte broadway sängerin wirst....(ich hab gesagt dass du kein glück brauchst, weil du's drauf hast)
yo,.........mail back....nell"

*lol* I have to look that up in my dictionary. Fairly broad as my English vocab is, this word is not a part of it...

Cacophonus? (sp?), that should be the word you are referring to.

But definitely no fitting for the melodious language of Goethe, Schiller, Thomas Mann and Brecht Willkommen/Welcome (not to mention a lot of other famous writers...)

The word I'm thinking of has to do with tone a word carries.

"The rain and hail crash into my windows, causing the thin glass to shatter." has this kind of tone, while, "The soft rain drizzles onto my face as I walk down the country lane." has another.

I think German has the first tone.

The defintion is: Harsh sounding.

So exactly what he was disribing.
