It's mostly men of color who have sex with men who come under this level of scrutiny and societal control when it comes to non-disclosure prosecutions. This doesn't help that at all.

I'm not a fan of criminalizing sex between consenting adults, notwithstanding status. And I really take issue with the term "womanizing". Sex-shaming is never appropriate irrespective of the adult individual, pairing or grouping involved.

Just so we are clear.... If this A-lister knew he was HIV positive and engaged in unprotected sex with someone else, which seems to be the case, it's a felony punishable by up to eight years in jail. While you may not agree, this is California's law and must be recognized. We are talking about a potential felon here.

If in fact he is the actor in question and he knew of his status and still went out and had unprotected sex, then he most definitely should be taken into custody and criminal charges brought against him.
It's just a heinous thing to do.

Still uneasy about criminalizing sex. This is a delicate topic which I'll treat accordingly. Forgive me for pointing out the obvious but there are couples in which both are aware that at least one is sero-positive. Some of those couples opt to have children. Outside that, there is always the possibility that there could be an unplanned pregnancy. In the event of a mother-to-child transmission, however unlikely today, should child services race in and take the child away from the parents, declare the child a ward of the state, and sue the parents on the child's behalf, or worse engage with the jurisdiction's attorney to bring about criminal charges?
Once again, I'm not being intentionally glib.

He's got a stack of film & TV acting credits to his name and is part of Hollywood royalty. Until fairly recently, he could demand a princely sum for lending his name & time to a project. If he could have stayed clean & sober, he'd arguably be as well received as George Clooney these days. His demons got the better of him and he's become toxic to others around him. I hope he gets help as well as those whose lives he's turned upside down.
