re: Woody Allen. Yay or Nay?

My favorite scene from Hannah and her sisters is when he converts to Catholicism. Out of a bag comes a bible, rosary, white bread!

Yay, as long as he's not in it. If he's in it, it's a Nay. Can't stand his persona.

Grovers--absolutely hyesterical; all the Jews were laughing their asses off and the goyim were looking around all confused.

Some very memorable movies, Hannah and Her Sisters, Manhattan, Annie Hall among them. Play It Again Sam onstage. Writer's Block wasn't good so I passed up his latest play. He seems like a sleaze in his personal life.

Broadway86, did I mention how in love with your "When Will I Be Loved?" avatar I am?

re: Woody Allen. Yay or Nay?

Woody Allen is one of the funniest men of all time. Movies like Bananas, Sleeper & Love And Death are hilarious. He was the Graucho Marx of his era. He is past it now but in the 1970s, he made us laugh by bringing humor to our humanness.

Yay. However is is a strange little man, then again so is everyone else in the film industry. Again I'd rather he wasn't in it. He's new film "Match Point" doesn't include him in the cast, yippie!
