Probably because of its remarkable legendary status, which is something considering hardly anybody has ever seen it.

Ever since reading that Harry Shearer saw the movie I have not been able to separate the idea that the film exists and that Mr. Burns has seen it. It's too perfect.

The premise of the movie is ODIOUS to say the least.

My fantasy is that it turns out to basically be the 1997 Oscar winner "Life is Beautiful" without any budget but with Jerry Lewis.

Plus, they've got a hot property 10 years after Lewis's death. If he ever does.

I read the synopsis and what the original author's intent was and how Lewis changed it. The original concept would have made it like Miphisto. Very dark, disturbing film that leads to a sense of redemption. Lewis' doctoring seems to be what is at fault.

I tried to acknowledge without scaring her off.
