Worst Musical You've Seen

What is the absolutely worst musical you've seen?

Napoleon
The Elgin Theatre
Toronto, Ontario
April 28, 1994

There is a reason no one had written a song about a barren womb.

There is a reason this show never left Toronto
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

There has never been a show worse than THOU SHALT NOT.

Thou Shalt Not is abysmal.

Proof that Norbert could perform absolute sh*t, and make it tony- nomination- worthy! The boy's got it goin' ON!!!!!

I've read all about it, and would like to hear the score someday actually.

Wasn't crazy about Peter Pan, or Flower Drum Song. My mom is yelling about how much she hated Meet Me In St. Louis.

re: Worst Musical You've Seen

This has been the topic of a very recent thread. Anyway, my choice remains the same. I've seen lots of musicals that I didn't like, but I walked-out on SUNSET BLVD. It was the worst thing (and the worst performance) I've ever seen.

I know I may get crucified for this, however...

"Crazy For You" made me crazy!

Also "Footloose" - I think a Broadway production of "Grease 2" would have been more entertaining. I left at intermission, but wanted to leave after the first ten minutes.

Just from the past year and a half:

The Look of Love
Dracula The Musical
The Frogs
Good Vibrations
Bombay Dreams

Stop worrying about what I'm doing -- focus instead on what you're eating.

THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE GOES PUBLIC. I saw it closing night. The house was packed. Like watching a train wreck.

The lowlight - a big song about phone sex - scantily clad babes posing inside 4 ft square plexiglass boxes while fat, balding middle-aged men try to touch them - at one point the men did a dance with their pants around ther ankles.

Tommy Tune must have been doing some really good drugs when he came up with this.
