Would You Allow Someone To Bring A Ouija Board Into Your Home?
#1Would You Allow Someone To Bring A Ouija Board Into Your Home?
Posted: 3/14/10 at 7:36pmCouple weeks ago a friend of mine wanted to bring one over. I kindly told him NOT to bring it into my house. For years I have had a fear of them and he and some other friends think I am just being superstitious. I can live with them teasing and joking me about it, I really could care less.Anyone else get freaked out over Ouija Boards?

Posted: 3/14/10 at 7:49pmIt is okay as long as you have plenty of holy water, a statue of the "virgin" Mother and one of Jesus "Yea, I rose from the dead"son of God. You should be fine against all the spirits.

"Light as a feather, stiff as a board"
LOL! Ah, the silly childhood slumber party games!
I don't believe in Ouija boards so I wouldn't care.

I would allow a ouija board in my house, but I'd ask them to keep it hidden until after my sister's kids had gone to bed. If I planned to take one to a friend's house (which I wouldn't, because I'm pretty sceptical, but I'd play with one if someone else brought one, because I'm curious) but the friend asked me not to, then I would leave it at home. No discussion, argument, or teasing, I'd just leave it.

Posted: 3/14/10 at 8:19pmI remember that game too. Me and my friends tried doing a seance as well. We were lame. First, we tried George Washington, which we claim worked, but now I'm not sure if it really did. And then we tried Jean Benet Ramsey for some reason, and it didn't work. However, we got freaked out because we saw my friend's mom come up the driveway, but we didn't see her car turn around, and then the light wouldn't come on in my room. Turned out someone turned the lamp off by the switch on it and not the wall.

Who says you can't have a daughter? If you drink enough...you get the gist of it...
I remember the Ouija Board game...I forget how to play it though. You let your fingers "glide" the slider to letters which make words...or something like that?
When I was little, my FAVORITE game was Mall Madness...I wanted to play that day-in and day-out.

Posted: 3/14/10 at 10:39pmSweetQ, I am way too old for another kid at this point in my life! And by the time they were 12 and having slumber parties, I'd definitely be too old to enjoy it!

Captain Howdy can bring his damn Ouija Board over any time he wants.
However, I will not have Twister and Wesson Oil in my house. Not again.

Stockard- come on... Henry is what...6? You can't be that old. You can have plenty more kids.
Look at the Dugger's for example- 19 kids (ok, ok, not the best example but you get the point..)
The oldest person who had a baby was 65...can you image that?
Just image the fun: A bunch of kids- age 8-12 playing games in the basement and a few elders playin their own game...the sleepover may start quite a bit earlier for the elderly though.
