No one mentioned Hell. Like all Epitaphs, these suggested merely tried to give a feeling as to the person memorialized.

You reap what you sow, as they say. Do unto others as they would do unto you. Rush is a hate monger, so he will get none of my sympathy. Do I hate him, no? But do I respect him-not on your life. I'd call him a fat, pill popping hate monger, living or dead.

In a period of time when people can rationalize the use of lies to support a useless war that sends thousands of people to their deaths, I have ZERO problem hoping for this idiot's demise, as he heightens and stengthens attitudes and resolve which I feel are detrimental to the life of our society.

I'll say again, I hope he croaks. I don't care how it happens, I just want his influence to be cut off.

It is scary that it comes to this: disagree with someone politically & wish for their death. I thought only Republicans were evil & mean spirited.You are just as guilty of hate speech as he is.You have to take the good with the bad with free speech. City Councilman Charles Barron is an ex black panther & spews some of the vilest things you can imagine.He is a true racist.He gets a pass & no one on this board calls for his death.Disagree with him, send nasty letters to him , get on a soapbox & denounce him by all means. Wishing for his death puts you on the same level.

In case you have not heard,the constitution calls for free speech. I guess free speech only applies to the "politically correct version of free speech". Old Ben & John Hancock & Tom Jefferson are rolling over in their graves.

What a sad state of affairs.

Mr. Roxy, since you don't seem to know what the Constitution says about the freedom of speech, I'll post it here:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Rest assured, nobody is violating Rush's freedom of speech by wishing for his death. In fact, they are exercising their own.

Honestly, Roxy. How many times do you have to be told that disagreeing with someone's opinion or with what they say is not infringing upon their free speech. Hating someone for what they say, does not infringe upon their free speech. Calling them an A-hole and wishing them dead does NOT INFRINGE UPON THEIR FREE SPEECH.

Did you fail civics when you were in school?

Before you start telling people what the US CONSTITUTION says, perhaps you'd should at the very least, get a clue. Lest you continue to pass on even more misinformation.

Repeat after me:

Disagreeing with someone does not infringe upon free speech.

If the GOVERNMENT told the old gas bag that he couldn't say the things he says, THAT would be infringing upon his free speech. GET IT???
