72% (Dixie).
Figures. I speak with a general accent leaning towards some southern pronunciations. I'm fine with it. Anytime someone thinks they can rib me for pronouncing something oddly, I can find something they say oddly.
Or else I hit them with a bat.

The biggest laugh is that my score said 60% Dixie and I've never left the North of England

I have been increasingly using the word "sugah" these days.
I think I'm becoming a Sugarbaker.

I have a Pennsylvania Dutch accent (Pennsylvania German if you care about being P.C.) but I don't think people can always place it.
My family and I always get asked where we're from when we're on vacation (are we that obvious of tourists?) and one time someone asked my brother if he was from Oklahoma. If Oklahoman is close to PA Dutch, I don't know, haha.

83% (Dixie).
I think they weighted that question that I answered "y'all"...what else is there to say..."you guys" is just a misnomer.
Cause I'm not THAT Southern. Yeah, I was born there and all my family lives there, but I feel like a New Yorker. Oy.
Surely bwaysinger is more Southern than I! This test is rigged.

Posted: 10/2/06 at 5:23pmI've never heard your voice bway, but some how I always imagined it as a kind of male Scarlett O'Hara........

That said...you might not sound like that at all........

Singingwendy! Oh, lord! I do not sound like Scarlet with two Ts.
I'm much more, uh...well, I'm not quite sure how to describe my voice. I'd say a gay Tobey Maguire but that's kind of redundant.

See...I think that's one of the strangest parts of the internet...we lose all the inflection and depth that comes from actually HEARING a person's voice.
I'm always amazed at seeing and hearing people you dont' really know in person for the first time. So many times they are NOT what I'm expecting.....

All I have is me singing, which wouldn't tell you anything about the way I talk anyway.
