Ways to annoy people: Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes. Ask people what gender they are,or Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)

I hail from Cortlandt Manor, a nice NY suburb in northern Westchester though I currently am at college in New Paltz, NY (about 75-80 miles north of the city).

Los Angeles (born in Santa Monica, reside in LA suburb Alhambra). I believe LA has a greater number of legit theaters (from a few dozen seats to several thousand) than any other US city. A great place to be a stage actor or see good theater. The only thing NYC has that we don't (IMHO) are the brand new big musicals (it'll be a while before Angelinos can see Wicked). You could see a show a day here and still only scratch the surface of what's available. Don't get me wrong: I love New York, but I don't feel at all deprived living in the Big Orange.

Another Brit here - I don't live anywhere as exciting as London, but I come from (and live in) Bristol (down in the South West) which is currently hosting the world premiere of Mary Poppins!

Wethersfield, CT, about 5 minutes south of Hartford. And, most importantly, about a two-hour drive to NYC! :)

rclocalz, It's okay, but I'm really a Northerner at heart. I even have a weird Long Island-ish accent that no one knows where it comes from, because I've lived here my whole life. I'd be MUCH happier in NYC.
