Virginia - just outside of DC.
Sorry eslgr8, but LA officially now comes in 3rd for total legit stages. There was a big article about this just a few months ago. NY is still #1 but LA lost the #2 spot recently to the Washington DC metro area. (I don't remember if I saw the article in the NY Times or the Washington Post.)

I'm from Trumbull, Connecticut... about an hour away from good old NYC.
Right now I'm far away in the middle of nowhere Virginia for school. Winchester, VA... *shakes head*
