Just wondering what your own version of hell would be. Mine would definitely be a place where I'm forced to play a round of never-ending mini golf with my brother.

I know you. I know you. I know you.

Being stuck in the Background Holding on any large film and be forced to listen to their stories about how they got their first SAG voucher, or how they ALMOST got a speaking line on some other gig...

Sorry...I don't think I want to go there, even for a quick visit. Why linger?

Love it Diva.

Along the same lines, being stuck in the holding room at a Non-Eq tour Female Singers call.

I'll semi-agree about background holding stories. Some of the people I've met through doing that work are so dumb. One guy got upset on the last shoot I did because we got clocked out at 7:30pm, after being there for 12 hours. He really thought he was hot stuff and should be in like every scene. He didn't even have a SAG card or anything yet.

I have to think about it. But my cousin always says hers would be trying to figure out how to get out of the mall parking lot while trying to unwrap the plastic off of a new CD she just bought there.

I guess she just thinks getting the plastic wrap off of a CD is a horrid experience and she can't find her way out of the parking lot of the mall? I have no idea.

A never-ending subway ride in a car with no seats available surrounded by a stinky-diaper baby, two drunk college kids, somebody eating something that requires a fork, those kids who dance by flipping and swinging around on the poles and a fire-and-brimstone preacher.

Or Splash on a Saturday night. It's a toss-up.

The United States of America when Rick Santorum wins the Presidency, with Michelle Bachmann as his Vice President, with GOP control of both houses in Congress.

Hell will be in session.

I think Stock's cousin's is brilliant.

Calvin, I'd add: having a seat, but on one side is a woman searching endlessly through her oversize purse that's already half on your lap for that elusive something, and on the other is a sleeping teen in a hooded parka who keeps leaning onto your shoulder.

Calvin, I'd add that recorded voice that keeps saying your train is delayed because of train traffic ahead of us, please be patient.

Yes, the phantom train traffic -- and it's 2 am, and we just waited 20 minutes for this train, not having seen any other trains pass prior.

Actually, I think this all was on an episode of Tales from the Darkside...

"Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality. But... there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit... a darkside."

If that's not the NYC subway system, I don't know what it could be.

... and after you've broken a nail or chipped a tooth to get the plastic off the cd, the static clamps it to your hand as you then try to find a way to peel, tear, rip, pry the "safety" seal off the top of the cd cover, only to then have that attach itself to the hair on your arm that sends you into screaming fits as you pull it off only to then have the entire sticky static mess attache itself to you again; while you've gone through two gallons of gas while idling in a parking space with other cars honking and flipping the bird at you for not leaving.

Based on what's been said here, I think Hell may be something like being stuck in a car in a mall parking lot behind a crazy man/woman who is simultaneously trying to drive and unwrap a CD.

Singtopher, isn't that awful? Whenever I go early to sign the mens' list, I run the hell out.
Calvin, or even worse- waiting outside in freezing cold weather for that elusive train "right behind this one" after the train you were already on (and had waited ages for) goes "express". After 25 minutes, you see a train in the distance and get excited. It comes and is a freight train.

I just thought of a real one.

I used to run the trading post at a summer camp for 2 years. I was in there for about 10-12 hours a day. It was extremely hot with no air conditioning. People forgot how to read signs and asked me a million times a day how much stuff cost. The crowds that came in after campfires were the worst. I often felt like I needed a protective cage or a stick to beat people off with. 12-year-olds liked to hit on me as well. The strangest thing that ever happened though, was the crowd that cheered for me when I was coming back to open up after dinner one night.
