re: Your Secret BWW Crush

Here's a blast from the past.

I suppose I don't have one, as there aren't many people my age around.
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

re: Your Secret BWW Crush

I second Guido.

Wasn't this painful enough the first time? :-P
Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

Those who don't know their history ...
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

re: Your Secret BWW Crush

If a thread is painful, I do have to wonder why someone would bother opening it? Is it a compulsion?
