Dancin, if that happens, I have to be for OSU

The way their schedules stand, OSU and Michigan both mostly only have current two-win teams remaining on their schedules, including Northwestern, who plays them both, before meeting each other.
Now, NU is usually good for at least one upset a year ... though this year may be the exception to the rule!

Of course you have to go for OSU Elphie. Whenever Michigan plays OSU no matter what the standings are everyone backs up the Buckeyes because everyone hates Michigan. It's standard protocol.

So, I haven't really been following this thread but since it's on the football topic, let me just say how excited I was when Clemson beat GA tech last night!:) It was the best game I've ever been to!

If Michigan can keep up their winning streak (which shouldn't be too hard) then we'll be having that head to head numbers 1 and 2 on November 18.
Bring it on Buckeyes!!!!!

The Huskers lost to the number two team and then lose only by a fumble to Texas. Why is Oklahoma ranked higher???????

To the Michigan fan(s) on the board: a 14-point win against cellar-dwelling Northwestern is less than impressive.
To the Northwestern fan(s) on the board: a 14-point loss to number two Michigan AT Michigan, is, as they say, a moral victory ... especially after last week ...

Billy-I don't really think Michigan was trying all that hard to beat Northwestern. Our offense was terrible and we didn't play that well today. I'm kind of thinking that since we're facing teams with not very good records these next few weeks, we won't be playing our full potential. We're going to do what we have to do to beat these teams and save as much energy as we can for OSU, which is what we did at the beginning of the season.

Florida's lack of killer instinct on offense is going to be their undoing. They're a very frustrating team to watch, even if they're winning. What's funny is they don't seem to have a shortage of playmakers, just a shortage of big plays.

USC losing is huge, especially considering the guantlet they have ahead of them.
I am happy with the Dawgs performance, they showed some heart at least. Good job on another win though Gators, good grief I cannot deal with the way we have been dominated in this series.
OSU and Mich just keep rolling...
I am watching Texas now (and Tennessee) I would really love to see them fall.

USC losing is absolutely gigantic since Ohio State and Michigan will play each other. Whomever is sitting in that #3 slot in the BCS is going to be in an excellent position to find themselves in the National Championship game.
If USC had lost to a ranked team, they may have had a chance to stick around. Losing to OSU pretty much eliminates them from the National Championship picture.
We've had a helluva run though.

Dancin, if that is the case Michigan better be careful. It is exactly that attitude that finds a previously unbeaten team with a surprise loss. Michigan better take every chance they have to improve, even in these next few "gimme" games. At this point, I think OSU is gonna kick their butts.

Yes, it's possible that OSU may kick our ass, but didn't everyone say that we would loose to Notre Dame too?

no their comments about you being loose had nothing to do with notre dame.

I am hoping November is a better month than October for the Bulldogs. Not giving up points after throwing a pick at our own 1 yard line, is a good start. Kentucky is the easiest game though. I still see a lot of losses this month.

GO BIG CATS! As predicted, Northwestern is good for at least one upset a season, though beating unranked Iowa is not as big an upset as beating number one Ohio State will be next week!

Down to the last drive and Stafford has 1:21 to get the touchdown.
Oh brother.
ETA: Of course he throws an interception.
Loses to Vandy and Kentucky in the same season. That didn't even happen under Goff.
1973 would be the year that last happened.

Yeah, we sucked today and I'm not ashamed to admit it. We better get into shape or we'll be looking at a loss before OSU.
