hi
i have an audition for Evita tomorrow for ensemble
they've asked me to prepare 2 contrasting songs to show range, that are appropriate to the style of the show.
i am a strong soprano by the way

You have a west end audition tomorrow and you still don't know what songs you are going to sing? A but of advice, for any audition ,you know you have coming up prepare your stuff way in advance, not the night before.

Anyone who is auditioning for a show should have their audition material planned. This makes have a hard time believing you are a professional.

some advice would be to either: pick some songs that you know already, as there isn't really much time to learn something, or try putting off the audition and try again when you have a strong piece of music that you know really well so that you can blow them away.

evita is my absolute favorite musical of all time. break a leg in whatever you decide to do!
