I was wondering if anyone knew a good monologue (or play i could find a monologue in) for my little brother. He is audition for the role of chip in Beauty and the Beast, and im not having any luck with finding a monologue.
Thanks Melanie

Do we REALLY need a new thread every time someone needs a song or monologue?

"At the Hop" by Ron Carlson - Overdone, but a perfect piece for anyone between the ages of 10 - 14 ish... boy, it has to be a boy though...

Do you REALLY need to come in and crap on every thread that you happen to personally dislike? Here's an idea, if you dont like a thread, DONT READ IT and move on! Thanks sweety!

Maybe an official audition thread is needed so everyone is happy.

My brain isn't working too great I can only think of Gavroche in Les Miserables but that would most likely be all sung. Maybe if he needs a song as well you could use an excerpt of that.

I vote for an audition thread, too. As for the question at hand, maybe something from Ragtime would work. The Little Boy in that has some short story-telling pieces. I have the script somewhere...
