I get Logo, but I almost never watch it.

I know that SBS was being made into a film, but I don't know whether it was ever released. One of my favorite independent musicians Levi Kreis was cast in it and wrote a song for it. I've never seen an announcement about the release. I would love to see it because I saw a local production of the Del Shores play, and it spoke to me. I'm not a gay man, but I am a former Southern Baptist who has always questioned the church's position on a multitude of issues. That play really helped me see some things about the Southern Baptist belief system very clearly.

is anyone going to the Outfest premiere screening next week?

Reminder! Series premiere tonight (7/23) at 10pm on LOGO.

I agree Dame. Funny but uneven. Gotta love Beth Grant as Sissy though.

Gotta love Beth Grant in general.

I saw the first 2 episodes at the premiere, which is nice without commercials. I'm all about DVR or TIVO so I can zip past them.

Very in keeping with the film though. The writing and line deliveries are just great.

Rue McLanahan is a great addition, and Caroline Rhea does a fantastic job playing Noletta considering she'll be compared to Delta Burke by those who have seen the movie.

I'm pretty sure it is or will be available on itunes. The important thing, if you like it, is to write into LOGO so it gets picked up for a second season.
