So....here's some minutue for you.

I have always been drawn to yellow and green as fav colors.
Lately I am being overcome with orange, I seem to now love orange, a color I never liked.

Do any of you find your fav colors change? Just wondering. My God, this sound like a Cruel thread......shoot me now (kidding).

So, orange is the new yellow AND the new green? That's asking a lot of a color, isn't it?

I used to be massively into blue, then pink, then I went through a simultaneous red and yellow phase, now I'm massively into orange as well. Although I love all the bright colours on the warm end of the spectrum (pink, red, orange, yellow). So I guess it definitely changes, and I hope it's not a cause for concern.

I kid you not, I am drawn to it. Last Saturday in the Bass store I bypassed everything to get to the sirts on sale....only looking at the orange ones...it's very odd, and so not me..

Thank you Weez, I feel better ;o)

Now Elph, you're fine. The love of a certain color is prone to change all the time. It's very subjective. As you grow and change, so do your attractions and tastes in art.

My favorite color is magenta and has been for years now, but I'm expecting it to change.

I think I may switch to orange!

Jane, funny you should mention Art. When i was younger I never paid much attention to it......at 20 I raced through the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdamn just to get to the end to see Nightwatch and am still regretting seeing nothing else.

Now, I plan my trips so I can see the art museum wherever I am.

Blue is and always has been my favorite color, but the orange thing - yeah, lately I've been adding it to my wardrobe. I am wearing dark orange shorts today, as a matter of fact.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Jane, I could live at the Met....my God if I lived in NYC I'd be in Heaven. Here we have (cough, cough) the Desert Museum, a small museum that has some nice collections (I'm sorry how much early Mayan art can one endure)and gets some great traveling collections, but it ain't the Met).

"Blue is and always has been my favorite color" - it must have something to do with our shared name - I collect Cobalt glass re: cause for concern?

Jane - hardly EVER?!?!? We need to CHAT!!!

And Elph - Pasadena isn't THAT far away - and between the Huntington and the Norton Simon, you could have a pretty wonderful art-filled day!

As for the color thing, I solve that problem by simply claiming that I LOVE COLOR, no matter what it is!

LOL DG-do you mean we have to chat because you also hardly go to museums, or do you have to give me a spanking for not going??? re: cause for concern?

I go for blues, pinks, lavender.

But lately my favorite for clothes has been oranges in the cantaloupe and tangerine hues!

I'm even thinking if I change dwellings soon of painting at least one wall some shade of orange.

Orange is supposed to be the color of creativity.

And if you look at pics of European homes, the walls are sometimes a dark orange, particlularly kitchens, dining rooms and living rooms. Such a warm color as long as you have good light. Updated On: 8/2/07 at 01:39 AM

No concern! What is happening is normal.

Hell, I just went through a whole thing picking a color for my living room. I wanted to do 'Baby Blue', "Chocolate Brown' with some Orange highlights. My husband said, "No orange." so that went to my neighbor who is doing Orange and Chocolate.

Orange is the new 'IT' color. You are just 'Up-To-The-Minute' with your tastes!

(Actually, orange was named the color of the millennium back in 2000. I just think it took us a few years to figure out what to do with it.)
