He can answer that question, mejust...he just won't.
And if she were my mom, I'd be proud as hell that she loved me enough to withstand all the slings and arrows thrown at her from people who have lost NOTHING in this war.

Posted: 5/29/07 at 3:29pmI have to believe that it is nearly impossible to recover from losing a child, and to lose a child when you can't understand why makes it worse. I think Sheehan is pretty out there, but I also think that she snapped when her child died, and doesn't know how to work her way back to normal. Along the way, she's brought some necessary attention to the war, and she's also made a messy display of herself.

Her message is sad and thoughtful, her outrage at the Democrats appropriate. I share it. Watching Hill and Obama put their fingers to the wind, cast votes late and without spotlights on them hasn't fueled much among most Democrats but more rage, a feeling of impotence.
I hope this lady finds some peace, and I hope we as a nation find solutions to the bloodly debacle that contribute to her peace. Watching people now gloat as she retreats from the front lines of activism is one of the more sickening sights, particularly the morning after we lost 8 more soldiers on our picnic n'parade occasion for true patriots, Memorial Day.
If kicking this impassioned woman while she's feeling down and defeated gives anyone a sense of moral comeuppance, I only pray you'll never be in her position.

Cindy Sheehan should be praised for her efforts to bring attention to the horrible situation our country is in due to its pitiful leadership.

Namo, you might want to quit playing right into my attention-whore tendencies.

God bless her! Too bad more people don't speak out against this sham of a war. Bush is a liar and it makes me sick to see him looking somber at Arlington when he is the reason for so many deaths. Bravo, Cindy! Thanks for what you tried to do.
Maybe if they bring back the draft the young folks will get off their butts and start protesting this war.
