Does anyone hate them as much as I do? I caught 6 in my apartment last week! I got them to set a bomb last Friday. When I came back today, I found dead cockroaches outside my door!
Ugh...I'm dreading the part of cleaning these things up. I think I'll just borrow a broom and sweep them as far away as possible from my door.

ICK! HATE THEM! There was one in the common bathroom (well, obviously there were more than one, but there was one that I saw!) in the dorms my freshman year. I got my RA. He was this hot Brit and was totally petrified. He jumped up on the little bench thing that was in there for towels, etc. and pretty much said he wouldn't be any help (but he was pretty, so that's ok!) I ended up killing it myself. I didn't want to step on it, so I dropped a paper plate on it, and then stepped on it (hence avoiding direct shoe to roach contact!) It was so gross!!! Every once in a while I'll see a dead one in the stairwell, and it makes me want to vomit!!!

Oh my god. I can't even imagine. We don't really have roaches in Vancouver. Just the odd spider and flies.

Yeah, it was super...no, UBER-disgusting. It just kind of collapsed and flattened under my foot...*sudder*

Ew...that's why I don't squash them.
My recent method of killing them is to spray them with something. While they suffer and go belly up, I pick them up with tons of toilet paper and flush them down the toilet. (shudders)

I find the crunchy shells adds a fun texture that matches with the taste well. Unlike meal worms, those things taste disgusting...
