Nice. I hardly ever buy their jeans because they're so expensive, but I have to say my favorite offer was when they gave you a free iTunes song just for trying the jeans on.

As a former Gap employee, I highly recommend the new jeans. The left to right weave really is softer and Gap jeans fit extremely well and last a long time if properly cared for.

I'm a big fan of the Curvys and the Long and Leans.

I used to love the Gap. When I graduated from college (late 80s) and had to start dressing a little more professionally, I got so many things there. Now, they have little that could be considered work wear -- at least for my quasi-conversative environment. Yeah, I'm old...

I love Gap, I just wish I could afford it. I shop at their outlet a lot, though.

i go into the gap occassionally, but only to gawk at the hot men that work there - although last time i was there (during christmas) there were guys older than my dad (and not very pretty) behind the register.

Don't f*ck with me fellas. This ain't my first time at the rodeo.

Does Gap have a looks requirement? I thought that was just Hollister.

I really like Old Navy's jeans because they come in a "short" length!

Old Navy jeans are the only jeans that look good on me.

My Old Navy jeans always fall apart as well. Gap is much better quality.

I can never find good jeans on me that look good and are still long enough.

Technically, im a petite, but I'm very tall. It's hard to find great jeans.

I'm a whore for the Gap. I'd say about 75% of what I own is from the Gap, including my underwear (but... I guess you... really don't need to know that...).

See Kringas, I'm not the only one who has had bad experiences with their jeans. re: does anyone shop at the gap? Maybe the men's jeans hold up well, but the women's/girl's don't hold up for crap.

Musical_Nerd--how can you be petite and tall? Technically petite means short (it's under 5'3" or 5'4", I can never remember which). So if you're skinny and tall, you're not petite, your just thin.

And to answer the original question--I like the clothes and styles at the gap, but have trouble finding my size. They tend to not stock enough of the "normal people" sizes (medium, large), and too many extra smalls and smalls. So, they always run out of the middle sizes really quickly, and have a surplus of the teeny sizes! I kind of boycotte GAP with the hopes that they'll get a clue as to what size real women are!

Strangely, though, I don't have any problem finding normal sizes at Old Navy or Banana Republic.
