does anyone use AIM on Mac?

my friend and I have been having this problem where our AIM program keeps logging off every 5 minutes and then logging back on... it's rather annoying... we haven't figured out what's wrong or what to do? anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem to the point where I just uninstalled it.

Yeah, I'd say use iChat. You can sign on with your AIM account and it works just the same. I use iChat with my old AIM account from like 12 years ago... which is why my screen name still includes "Sideshow Bob," but ehh.

iChat is wonderful :) that's what I use for aim

Adium has issues with file transfers and webcams.
