I just saw they are remaking yet another 80's tv show into a movie- Knight Rider.
What was your favorite 80's show? What shows if any would be a good or interesting choice to be updated and made into a movie?

I loved Punky Brewster, but don't think would be good movie.
Maybe Buck Rogers- don't remember much, but maybe it could be a decent movie.

All wonderful. Though I don't think they would make good films these days.

I'm not ashamed to admit that One Day At A Time was my favorite TV show. OK, maybe I'm a little ashamed.

I was going to take exception to Alice and One Day at a Time, however, half of their runs were actually in the 80s.

I loved "Misfits of Science!"

My fave was probably "Family Ties." I also loved "L.A. Law," "Cheers," and "The Cosby Show."

But you know what could make a good movie? "REMINGTON STEELE!" re: favorite tv show from the 80's

"The Golden Girls." Love that show. Just like "I Love Lucy," I can watch it over and over and over again, and still laugh out loud. It's so comforting to watch.

I totally forgot about "Fame" the tv show. I loved that show. I would set up my pink dual cassette boombox in front of the tv to record the songs. I loved CoCo and later the part Nia Peoples played (? Nicole). I received season 1 on DVD last Christmas; wish the rest of the seasons would come out too.
