Yeah. Although a surprising amount that I've seen (I'd say 95%) are really old white guys, so I'm guessing they're deluded enough to think the woman really loves him.

I really do think a lot of them are lonely- widowers or divorcees. Like I said, it's manipulative on both ends.

Um...a pariah is someone who's universally maligned. A piranah is a predatory fish. Maybe you're getting them mixed up.
