now let's see where those numbers are after the ads have had a chance to sink in. not that they will move an awful lot since they're right around where kerry was.

PJ - I thought you only paid attention to polls that supported your candidate?

Come on guys, scallion is right and we all know it.
These polls are going to ebb and flow in both directions as the conventions and debates come and go.
It's way to early to trust any poll's numbers.

I aspire to be as gracious as Bill Clinton.

Instead, I lean toward Mario Cuomo, who said:

"No matter who he picks," said former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, "the question is going to be raised: Are you telling me that this person would be a better qualified vice president than Hillary Clinton?"

Tazber, you are right. I do my best to defend Obama but then he pulls this stuff out. I assumed the DNC and Obama had made their decision on the mater. Isn't this like saying to the states Hillary won to shut up and give us your vote? I mean, the Hillary supporters have no voice. Can you blame their bitterness? I blame the DNC more than Obama for this but still, how can he unite the party and resolve all of this? Let me think......Hmmmmmm, hey! I got an idea! How about announcing Hillary as his VP? Yeah, unite the party and the states where Hillary won and her supporters will fight their hearts out for them both.
Or, he could screw it all up and pick someone who did not win 50% of the Democrats and the states Obama lost.

As long as we're paying attention to daily polls, Gallup has Obama +3 today. While I've said all along that summer polls are meaningless, clearly those that support my candidate have more credibility.
