who are you and what have you done with dg?
Now if we want to talk about hypocrisy, let's talk about Hillary. Seriously. Much like Huckabee, I tried so hard for so long to like her, but I can't make myself do it anymore.
All of the candidates have let me down, quite frankly.

How would you say that Hillary is a hypocrite? No judgments implied, just curious.
She's stated herself in the past how we need to rise above all of these negative attacks on each other and so on...when it's convenient or necessary for her, however, it's A-OK.
I'm tired of all of the candidates as well.
I'm just going to vote for Pedro.
Ugh, talk about a truly craptastic movie.
Wow, I am really cranky tonight.
Yea, the movie sucked, but I'm still voting for Pedro.
As a write-in.
Fair enough
not to mention Hillary's major lie that the only reason she voted for the war in Iraq was because Dubya didn't provide them with all the information. she'll never live that down with me.
President Huckabee? Just what this country needs, a southern baptist minister who doesn't believe in evolution. He can lead us right back into the dark ages and make America more of a laughing stock than it is now.
c'mon, marc, he can do that with his name alone!
Huck is cute????
Yeah, like the flailing underbelly of a cockroach.
The more I look at Obama, the more I think he's just too nice to win the election. We already did nice with Gore and Kerry. Didn't work too well, did it?
the name huck as a nickname, bb, just the name.
The term flip flopping should def die it's death with Romney and Guiliani in the race. It's just beautiful that the term gets used for Kerry and then these two guys enter the next race.
I like Huck's views on Income Tax (I think--need to learn more), but that's ALL.
Run, Gore, RUN!
ok.
john kerry, "i actually did vote for the 87 billion dollars before i voted against it."
that is the standard of the flip-flop.
when you have a gop candidate dumb enough to make a statement like that in front of cameras while campaigning for the highest office in the land, come talk to me.

Oh please - that's not the standard; that's the highest form of the art! Romney and Giuliani have done plenty of standard flip-flopping. Just because Kerry was worse doesn't mean these two shouldn't be taken to task for it.
worse, or better? if it is the highest form of the art...
sure they should be taken to task and they will be. but remember, the media wasn't the ones who invented the term and stuck it to jfk2, that was us. the media just reported it. ever. single. time. we. said. it.
for the record, i don't think i ever used the term myself.
they'll be taken to task and that's why huck will be the nominee.
regardless of who comes out of the gop, i think the best thing for them is a tight race that isn't determined until the very end. that way the voters won't have quite as much time to get sick of the candidate.
i really believe it's gonna be huck, though.
So, you actually agree with me that they will be taken to task for flip flopping but want to engage in a pointless discussion of whose flip flopping was worse?
I wasn't placing importance over which was worse--flip flopping over war funding or flip flopping about abortion and gay civil rights. I was placing importance on the hypocrisy of trying to damn a candidate for being a flip flopper (about more than just war funding) and then running two of the most blatant flip floppers.
And I wasn't pointing any fingers at you, papa. I do not know why you seem to take all of these political comments so personally.
actually, jerby, i was reacting to your comment because it was at least the third in this thread regarding the flip-flopping not becuase it was you.
you brought up jfk2, not me.
if i felt like being mean i'd mention your flippers, but i'm far too nice for that.
Well, of course, I brought up Kerry. I sat and watched grown men and women putting flip flops on their hands and waving them through Madison Square Garden in his honor.
It was as if no flip floppers should be qualified to be President. Even though Bush himself has flip flopped. And my point being--that some of the top contenders for the GOP nomination have flip flopped.
