I'll say it since my new trainer says it to me almost daily since the eating season began: Instead of a cupcake, why not some celery and carrots?
On a similar note:
Did anyone see the Starting Over when Jill told the story about walking up and down the grocery aisle for 45 minutes talking to a cupcake? Now THAT was some great tv. I miss that show.
I flew back to Vancouver with a 9" red velvet cake and 8 cupcakes from Buttercup Bake Shop last night. The grief of trying to keep all 3 boxes upright for 5.5 hours plus all the wait time at JFK better be worth it...

Anyone remember Pete Barbutti? He told a funny story about crossing the Canadian border to do a one-night gig, with a suitcase filled with TastyCakes. The border patrol thought he was transporting drugs, so they opened up every package and broke open one cupcake in each package. Then, he returned to the US. The border patrol thought it was odd that he had a suitcase full of opened cupcakes, so they broke up all the remaining cakes. LOL. Well, it was funny the way he told it.
LOL! That happened to me the first (and only) time I thought it would be a swell idea to bring home 36 Krispy Kremes from Washington a couple of years ago.
Bump for the love of cupcakes
How in hell did you find this?

Taz, I love you!
My mom made a cake and cupcakes today. Chocolate with chocolate frosting and sprinkles...yummy!
Does anyone know how late Magnolia Bakery is open on a Tuesday night?
I have a feeling you will very soon Deet
Buttercup is 4 blocks away but it's closed already.
And those girls are MEAN when it's time to go home.

I would love to.
The only problem is I'm not sure there's enough to go around.
Don't mind me. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, anyway.
I'll take any kind of frosting as long as the cake part is white cake. And Magnolia is fine!

That's Tori Spelling's signature cupcake! It's her mom's recipe, even though they don't talk anymore.
Then why not carry one around in a Cup-A-Cake? That's right, a cupcake transportation device!
...Just don't turn it upside down.
One important fact-Magnolia's red velvet cake is always dry!
The cupcakes at Amy's Bread = heaven.
I stopped in for a cupcake with pink icing and a cranberry Fizzy Lizzy the other day. That was an excellent snack.
Man, I love NY.
Man, 7 1/2 months later, and I *still* want a husband!
But I could go for a cupcake in the mean time.
