this is totally off-topic from anything theatre related, but i just wanted to put it out there.
i got an ice cream maker (cuisinart 1 qt) for christmas and absolutely love it. truth be told im an ice cream junkie (cherry garcia, chunky monkey...heaven!).
anyways, i have gone through most of the standard recipes in the booklet that came with it. i've made vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peppermint, cherry vanilla, coffee (THE BEST!), orange, and lemon.
what should i make next? i was thinking maybe blueberry or blueberry cheesecake? suggestions?

Avacado Ice Cream!!!
1/2 pint (250ml) double (heavy) cream, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 3/4 pint (375ml) milk, 3 ripe avocados
Take the avocados, peel and seed them then put into a blender with the milk and make a pureé. Pour the pureé into a mixing bowl, add the sugar, lemon juice and cream and beat until creamy. Then transfer the complete mixture into an ice cream maker and follow your manufacturer's instructions.
hmm, interesting touchme - have you tried it before?
i dont have a recipie for it, but green tea ice cream
green tea is another possibility. i was also thinking about chai tea ice cream.

That sounds fabulous, Abba! I LOVE green tea.
You could make a black forest type ice-cream, with chocolate and cherries, or mocha, with chocolate and coffee. Maple is my one of my all-time favourite flavours, too (with pecans!). Or what about peanut butter chocolate?
I've been trying to NOT eat ice-cream... can you tell I'm craving it right now?
ETA: Chai! MAKE THAAAAT!

Purple Cow...
Take black raspberry fro-yo or ice cream and add dark chocolate chips and white chocolate chips.
YUMM.
I don't have recipes either, but I'm throwing in a vote for anything cheesecake-the only time I went through an entire pint of ice cream in one sitting was cheesecake flavor. Now I think I have to keep away from it. Green tea ice cream-very subtle and creamy-another favorite of mine.
Did you try looking for recipes on one of those food sites, like Food Network, or allrecipes.com, or even googling?

Well, now that you've started such a yummy thread- you're going to have to make some ice cream for all of us.
I'll take either butter pecan or mint-chocolate chip (perferebly the green one)
Thank you.

I love mint chocolate chip. Also, putting chocolate-covered espresso beans into vanilla is great.

When I was in New Brunswick, Canada Grape Nuts ice cream was a big favorite. It isn't bad. All it is is vanilla with Grape Nuts cereal mixed in.
I've heard Humble Pie is a nice flavor for some people.....
elphaba be gone with you before somebody drops a house on you...
cookie dough is yummy...
...anyone pick out the little cookie dough pieces, save them for later, and shove them all in your mouth at once when you're done with the ice cream...weird I know lol!
PEPPERMINT!!!!!!! I could live on that stuff.
Or raspberry sorbet.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I can't even imagine how G-d awful wasabi ice cream must have been.
Almond Joy ice cream. (Coconut ice cream with shaved chocolate and toasted almonds.)
heath bar - like ben & jerrys!
