Hi,
I've been lurking for about a week before deciding to register. I thought I would introduce myself so when you see a new name posting around you'll know who it's from.
I was an actor for a good portion of my life - until HIV/AIDS killed 30 of my friends and a lot more acquaintances, then I worked training HIV counselors. After burning out from that I became a private art dealer which is what I’m doing now.
I recently moved to South Florida, though I travel to NYC at least once a month for work purposes and for excellent theater.
I’m gay and have been with my partner for 19 years.
I’m a democrat, though I do like listening and debating with opposing views. One thing that sets me off is Bush and his administration ( What a pity McCain didn’t get the GOP nomination in 2000) lets just say I don’t think too highly of him. But to be fair, is Kerry the best that we could put forward?
I’ll try not to get too heated in my discussions, but if I inadvertently insult someone, call me on it and I’ll probably apologize.
Theatrically I spend more time off broadway and off off broadway, and I’m really looking forward to this years fringe festival.
Thats it - Have a good one.

Ooh, a former actor! I look forward to reading your posts!
Our family is slowly growing...*tear* I'm so proud to be a part of it.

Hello! and welcome Marc. have fun posting, and remember the sarcasm (as well as the fur) really flies sometimes. So don't take anything to seriously.

Posted: 6/23/04 at 1:50pmAbout me... I live in the theater district. One boring day last year I had an epiphany-why don't I see more theater, since I live right here. I caught the theater bug and here i am! I enjoy theater, opera (NYCO, not the Met-too expensive), foreign films, art/museums, mountain biking, and chorus boys<---I love meeting them around 11:00 pm at the local bars when their shows let out :)

Unlike a certain blond impersonator who has given us her real name, told us where she lives, where she works, when she works, etc.
