The terrorist undertones are one thing, but the "beating" shown wasn't really any worse than Looney Tunes showing characters blown up by bombs, falling off cliffs, and being smashed by anvils.

That is totally an inacurate portrayal of Israelis...I should know I am one.

I mean seriously...I would NEVER leave on my expensive suit and sunglasses on when stabbing a beloved cartoon character. I'm too cheap to get them dry cleaned.

the difference being that looney tunes are in fact cartoons. they also bounced back from every bit of violence no matter how awful. because they were cartoons. not the case here. the news cast at the end that states clearly that farfour has been martyred "at the hand of the criminals, the murderers, the murderers of innocent children, who killed iman hijo, muhammad al-dura and many others."

imagine if you will a video played on the 700 club in which a gay man beats to death barney followed by a child news announcer stating, "barney has been martyred at the hand of the criminals, the murderers, the murderers of innocent children, who live to kill unborn children and prey on the innocent."

It's like something those freaks who run Jesus Camp would come up with if they had a HUGE budget.

ETA: Okay, I just watched the clip. I take it back. Those Jesus Camp people could produce that with one camper's worth of camp fees and pop it on public access. I have to say, Farfour's voice was sooo horrible I was hoping they'd actually show his death. And the arms akimbo? A little light in the loafers (if he has feet), if you ask me.

I just saw a staistic chart in Time that indicated 45% of the population in the Gaza Strip is under 14.
There are 1.5 million residents in the Gaza Strip all together.

So, an alarming number I would say see the show.

No arguing that point papa. You realize once Fatah gets all this financial backing the people in the West Bank are going to probably start to bring Hamas in. I'm sure they will be disillusioned by Abbas and his comprimises. So then we will have a well monied and well armed Hamas.

I can't find the link but in today's Pittsburgh Tribune Review was a photo of a 4 year old Iraqi boy crying in terror as two older children (couldn't have been more than 8 or 9 years) held toy guns to his head in a mock execution.

It's a sick, sick world we live in.
