I just want to add my congratulations and welcome back - I've always been touched by you, and I'm happy you're on the way to your own personal happiness. Good for you.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

oh, and capt's questions:

1) How old are you? 23
2) At what age did you feel "different"? well this is hard because i felt like i was a boy from age 5 on up, but didn't feel "different" then. i'm not 100% sure when i started to feel different.
3) At what age do you remember not liking your female body? around age 13, when i started puberty
4) Have you ever had sexual attraction to a male? If so, at what age? no, i'm asexual
5) Have you ever had sexual attraction to a female? If so, at what age? no, i'm asexual
6) Now that you identify yourself as male, looking back at your life, do you now recognize signs from earlier in your life? omg deffinatly. with the exception for places where i had to dress up, like mu cousin's wedding, and stuff like that, i haven't worn "girl's clothes" since i was in middle school.
7) Today, are you sexually attracted to males or females? In other words, are you a transgender heterosexual male or a transgender homosexual male? i consiter myself primaraly a homo-asexual male... that is i have physical, emotional, and romantic attractions to other males but not sexual attractions, although i suspect that will change when i'm fully transitioned. the asexual part i mean. i still have asexual attractions towards woman, but not like seeing a random girl and being like "oh she's hot" it's more like i could date a girl, but only one that i've known for a long time and have a deeper level of attraction to.
What is your religion today, and is it what you were raised to be? i'm a buddhist. i say i was "raised" catholic... i say it like that because we were like... easter and christmas catholics.
9) I read that you have told your family. Are they supportive? What was their initial reaction to your coming out? Did it all make sense and click with them? Did they ignore signs? in my mom's words "this actually makes sence! cool!"
10) How are your teachers and the school reacting to this? i go to a university that has a VERY open minded staff for the most part. i haven't run into any troubles with my professors yet. i'm registered with the student disabilities office for other things, and everyone registered with them gets a form letter to give to their professors at the startof the semester that says your name and something like "the above student has a documented disability... blah blah blah... please respect these accomadations...." so next to my name i write "i'm transgender, please call me paxton and use male pronouns. thank you!" and give it to them like that. no one has had any issue so far.

Congrats Paxton! I'm so glad that you not only got help when you were in such a deep depression, but that you found the real answers, are taking the steps to making things right and that your family has been so supportive. That's such a blessing! LOVE the name, too.

:) Welcome back. :)

Paxton, I'm too new on the BWW scene to really know you, but welcome back, and congratulations for taking the first big step! I hope you feel happier with your self and more confident from now on.

I don't mean to be rude, but when you said that you play with a disabled team-- are you wheelchair-bound?

Paxton - I believe it's considered "distance learning". I don't know if the credits will transfer, but I'm sure you'll find the course applicable there.

hmmm... i'll go to my advisor and ask her when i'm on campus next week. i'm sure she'll know the answer. is this a 100-level course, or is there a pre-req?

schmerg - i'm not wheelchair bound (i hate that term lol)
i can walk, just not very well and not for very long. on campus i use a wheelchair (it's actually pretty sweet... the front wheels light up!) and around the house i can usually get around with just my leg braces and/or crutches or my cane to take some of the weight off my legs. my muscles tire easily, and when they get tired, they get spazzy.

FYI: this is sled hockey

Abba I applaud your bravery and glad you are finally able to be the person you truly are. I admire you so much for being strong enough to go through this difficult but ultimately rewarding process.

I don't talk about this much on here. Well at all. My partner is F to M so I in some small way understand what your going through having seen him struggle with these things and as a partner having to deal with frequent discrimination.

If you ever need to talk my door is open. I've always enjoyed talking to you and reading yoru posts. I wish you the best of this journey and admire you greatly.

Abba I am just tickled you're back and happy! And I always have thought of you as an anthropomorphic bunny and I can never tell what sex a rabbit is so this transition isn't going to affect me at all.

Kidding! Now I am gonna totally want to hit that.

Congrats and welcome back, Paxton!

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

I'm totally late to this thread (I haven't been around as much lately!), but welcome back! I know we've communicated some on Facebook so of course I noticed the change and have been following a bit, but wasn't sure if you wanted attention drawn, since it's of COURSE a huge deal, but at the same time, it's not a big deal because it's just who you are. You know? So I hope you weren't upset by that! I just felt like I should be treating you as the same old you, because... well, you're still you! But anyway, I think you're really courageous to share this with everybody, and I know you've been through a lot, but I'm really glad that you're on the road to finding peace. I'm happy for you!
