new member name

I dont like having my actual name as my member name, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to change it. If so I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I agree. Just alert the masses when you change it or keep that avatar for a little bit until people know it's you. Besides, I don't think you can change your name without making a new account (I could be wrong though.)

I believe you're only allowed one name at a time.
So delete Matt Schneider and make a new one.

I thought the rule, if anyone ever bothers to read the guidelines, is one poster = one identity. If you need to change your identity without fear of the old and new being banned, then I suggest you contact Rob and get his permission.

Seriously, I'd write to Rob or Craig. I once, accidentally, screwed up my account by trying to change my email address, and suddenly an iflitifloat2 appeared. Thankfully, Craig fixed my fractured identity.
