She also ends up in a boxing ring for some reason. There's a funny scene where she's singing "Fernando" (by ABBA) and the other boxer knocks her out. That's all I remember.

I highly recommend the holiday album- Everyone Sing Carols With Wing. Featuring the unexpected cover of When You Believe from the Prince of Egypt. Words cannot describe the sounds you'll find on that CD.
Order from her site. She personally sent me emails concerning the order. She's a delight.
I wish I had her whole Carpenters tribute album. Goodbye to Love is a treat. And her Dancing Queen is fun. If nothing else, it makes for great party/dinner conversation when you pop in one of her CDs for a group of friends.
(Not afraid to admitt that all of the above mentioned tracks are on my iPod)

I listened to "Castle on a Cloud" It wasn't bad, but not very good either.
I don't know if I'd put her on my iPod though.

Some f***er posted this on the new CURTAINS thread:
"On a side note - when I saw the picture of Debra Monk on the home page of Playbill, I thought it was someone playing Albin in La Cage Aux Folles."
I'm going to have to give someone the smackdown. Seriously.

When I bring my classes to the computer lab, I play Wing for them. I then warn them that if they give me one ounce of trouble, they'll be hearing Wing for the rest of the period. There's never a peep out of them
Wing is a potent disciplinary strategy that all teachers should be aware of!

Has anyone ever been to one of her concerts at the local rest home?
I bet they're packed.

RE: Wing's Christmas Album
Wing is popular among staff members at our school nnd our librarian is an Orthodox Jew. She walked in one day when we were listening to excerpts from the Christmas album. Later in the day, I was amused to walk into the library and hear the librarian sing "Santa Crause Is Coming To Town" with Wing's Asian accent.
I still kid wither her about that.

Do you think Wing would guest appear at Q?
Or sing any of Christmas Eve's songs?
