Reading an article about the new season of HBO's Emmy-winning series, "The White Lotus", is floating the possibility of Golden Globe, Emmy and Tony winner Bette Midler checking into the hotel.  Do people really think that she can reign in her over-acting muscles and be an asset or a liability?

Jen Coolidge's character existed on an entirely different emotional plane than the rest of the show and that worked out real good. Bette could play her bereaved mother.

I want to see Bette Midler and Danny DeVito as a "White Lotus" couple.  Please.
