Your argument would be more credible if the GOP had an ounce of truth to their comments. Mitch McConnell has been advised of what's been going on with the Christmas bomber, but he continues to go on TV and flat-out lie about the facts. Same with Collins and Snowe.

Papa, I'm assuming you've read the Constitution, and I'm assumming you have a better grasp of it than the senators mentioned above. So, I'll assume you know that any PERSON arrested on US soil for a crime MUST BE GRANTED certain rights. Those rights ARE NOT RESERVED FOR CITIZENS.

mb, your twisting will not change the reality that this administration has painted its critics as being in league with those who would wipe our nation off the face of the planet. the constant fear-mongering and divisive partisan attacks that come our of the west wing are indicative of the true nature of this criminal enterprise now occupying the executive branch.

Is not that how the teabaggers describe Obama's administration ? I seem to recall some of them carrying posters of Obama made up as Hitler ?

And, yeah, making us all live in fear of Al Qaeda under every bed is exactly what the terrorists want.

Also, a lot of people on the right have no idea what the First Amendment is if they can accuse Obama of suppressing it.

that is patently untrue, erik. why just this morning while speaking with robert gibbs, he pulled off his shoe, pounded it on the desk and bellowed, "we will bury you!!" and all i asked was when the next press conference would be. you know, like in front of the wh press corps. like hasn't been done since july when barry did his biden impression and ended up having to do a beer summit. i tried to leave quietly, but janet napolitano blocked the door chanting, "the system worked!"

Sadly I'm kind of at the point where I don't care anymore. The reality is both parties suck. All they care about is getting reelected and neither party will give an inch to get anything done while our country is being run into the ground. Soon we'll just all be part of China anyway.

The article is not talking about criticism, it is talking about playing politics with terrorism, which the GOP is very adroit at at doing.

The fact that Kit Bond did not know that putting the Junk Bomber in FBI custody meant that he got Mirandized is just short of amazing.

McConnell comparing the FBI unfavorably to Larry King unbelieavable - if a Dem had done that, the GOP would be attacking him and demanding his resignation. The situational outrage (of both parties, but more often, the GOP, drives me crazy).

Criticize all you want. Just stop making crap up.

You betcha. I know that the facts give her a hard time, especially those she does not like.

I wonder how long those notes will stay on her hand? It reminds me of when I was 8 and got in trouble for writing the "F" word on my hand, and waving to my mom. By the age of 9, I learned not to do that.
