there are levels of deafness. i, myself, never heard my mom when she would ask me to do something around the house. but dessert? i heard the sound of the spoon mixing the pudding EVERY time!

and yes, taz, some "mothers" gave their childrens tang to "drink" just like the astronauts.

1. i have more choices than some fool in space
2. once i saw mom using tang to clean the dishwasher, i knew it was time to stop drinking it.
