Which brings up a basic truth about group dynamics. Any kind of situation that is put out to the public (ie posted on a message board) while still being shrouded in secrecy, is going to create interest where none might have otherwise existed. If a half-dozen people know the inside story about a current "peak interest" occurance, and another half-dozen have guessed the real story, it's not difficult to imagine that it gets discussed, particularly when the actual situation was so much less threatening than the original post made it seem. News of anything out of the ordinary spreads like wildfire, and not necessarily in a malicious fashion.
I, myself, never had any contact with you about what actually happened to cause your previous identity to leave the board, but you'd better believe that I was damn interested and worried. It was a relief to find out, however that news was disseminated, that you really weren't in mortal danger.
All I'm saying is that it is human nature for people to share with their friends what they know. Precious little stays totally contained, especially when a fair number of people are privy to additional information.
That being said, my point is that I don't think anything especially sinister occurred to warrant mention in the Review.
